Brief Biography

    Bodong Shang is an Assistant Professor (Ph.D. Supervisor) at Eastern Institute for Advanced Study (EIAS), Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT), Ningbo, China. He was a postdoctoral research associate at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, USA, his M.S. degree in the School of Telecommunications Engineering at Xidian University, Xi’an, China, and his B.Eng. degree in the School of Information Science and Technology at Northwest University, Xi’an, China. He received the Chinese government award for outstanding self-financed students abroad and held a summer research internship position at Nokia Bell Labs, USA. His current research areas are wireless communications and networking, including 6G, space-air-ground-sea integrated networks, non-terrestrial networks, internet-of-vehicles, and edge computing.
